Dear Family and Friends,

We are incredibly sorry for not getting a letter to you sooner. We have had many technical difficulties, illnesses, life issues and ministry busyness. With that said this is a long and yet brief overview of what we have been up to these past months.

What a JOY it is to share this journey with YOU! The further into this Capitol assignment, the more we realize how much we need your friendshipprayers, and support. After experiencing a crisis on top of the “normal” challenges of what we’re doing, it’s even more evident how good our God is and how He has such an amazing way of bringing His people together, so we each do our part in His plan. Obedience to each of our individual parts is really key to seeing His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as in Heaven.

During July as I (Chris) was pressing on beyond my physical limitations to get to Salem, OR, God started to impress on our hearts to prepare for a Hawaii Capitol event. It didn’t really make sense at that time, but we started praying and talking to our friend who lives there. We started having dreams connected to this trip, yet the timing and funding wasn’t quite clear. So…we kept praying and waited.

One of the days during our time in Idaho, we cried out to God about clarity for Hawaii funding. That very day we received a phone call about a larger donation coming in. We didn’t know what it would be, but we knew we should pursue going to Hawaii in a more serious way. Simultaneously, several members of our family got pretty sick on the front end of our time in Idaho. God provided so wonderfully to help us through that from a new friend we met there. This stirred me to pray and seek God about health and healing for our family as well as seeing Him move in power again during our ministry meetings and times of worship. (After my injury, I was initially very focused on my own miraculous recovery. A good portion of my focus was simply on being able to stand up to lead worship during our events.) Once again, I began to pray for “revival fire”! Thankfully we got that breakthrough at a meeting in Meridian, ID where God moved and several people were healed and rededicated their lives to God!

We went to Utah after this and joined a weekend tent gathering on the Desert Salt Flats near Wendover. The first night as we opened in worship, a woman was healed during the worship time. She was unable to lift her arms up above her head for many years. It turned out that after being healed, she also got saved! Three of our girls were baptized and filled with the Spirit. They trembled for an hour! One of them saw a vision of angels standing among “revival fire”! It was a tremendous few days in the presence of Jesus!

A few days later on Septemper 7th we had a wonderful time of worship in the Utah Capitol Building rotunda. An official from the Govenor’s office joined us, and took videos! There was also many Asian tourists that would stop, take videos and listen. Amazing!

Justice had a very specific dream the night before about flying to Hawaii from Denver on the date of October 24th, that dream was amazingly confirmed at the Utah Capitol building. (This is a story for another letter/day! It’s a good one!)

Before we left Utah we were praying about where to go next. That verymoment the owner of the tent used for the Salt Flats gathering called us and invited us to another tent meeting in Roosevelt, UT. It was starting the next day! We headed that direction and had a wonderful time there. A highlight was the 2nd night when Lori helped lead a whole family to Jesus in the middle of worship. God moved again in power!

Next, we headed towards New Mexico, which was new territory for us. None of us had been there before. Even though we had no sure connections we went ahead with the event. Because of our friends in the Aglow network, we were able to join with a small group of locals for worship in the Capitol Building Rotunda in Santa Fe (Sept. 15th). They told us the prayers we declared were the exact ones they had been praying for many years. They sensed a shift in the atmosphere as soon as we began!

On our way home we got news that our financial breakthrough for Hawaii had come through and we began preparations.

After traveling back home to South Dakota and catching up on appointments, we were honored to join with the 51st Annual South Dakota Right to Life (SDRTL) Convention for several brief worship sessions. It was a great opportunity to learn about the great initiatives in our state and nation. We are excited that we will also be joining the 50th Annual SDRTL “Hour of Reflection” in the Capitol Rotunda in Pierre. This will be January 29th at 2PM and we will lead a brief time of worship. The anticipated attendance is about 500 and may include Governor Kristi Noem.

We had an amazing opportunity to return to Colorado and attend the “Communion Colorado” event that Lou Engle hosted. We also celebrated Sukkot/Feast of Tabernacles with our friends at Or-Chaim (messianic congregation) and Castlewood Canyon Church. It was an honor to be able to lead worship for the Shabbat service!

During our time in Colorado, we were unexpectedly, at the last minute, able to schedule an event for Wyoming on October 21st. It was a bit more challenging than we had anticipated, but with much prayer and perseverance we succeeded. We were not approved for the Rotunda, but instead were given access to an underground auditorium that was recently added to the Capitol Building Complex. It was the first worship event in that space and the first time worship was approved in the building in quite some time. We joined with a few fiery locals and had a precious time together.

Special Moment: Serenity even felt led to sing a song with us. She came up to Lori and asked for the microphone and sang a chorus along with the team!

While we were in Colorado we began to pack and organize for…..Hawaii! We were flying out for Hawail on October 24th just like in Justice’s dream. We searched flights all the way to June of 2023 and this was the cheapest time to fly to Hawaii! We are excited to share all about this Capitol trip in our next newsletter…….stay tuned! …We plan to send this very soon!

We are in a space of time where we have some needs we wanted to bring before you…

Our family has been asked many times to record and produce some of our music. Our son Barak will be taking a couple college courses to teach him how to do this with more skill. Would you consider helping us purchase a computer system sufficient to handle the processing power we would need to do this? It would be around $3,000. If that is something you feel the Lord stirring you to do please contact us.

Would you consider financially supporting Monumental Worship for your year end giving?

If so, please call, email or text us. You may also visit our website giving page.

We would love to hear from you! Please message us and let us know how you’re doing or how we can pray for you! 🙂

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)

God bless,

Chris, Lori and family
